England, a very decorative miniature carriage timepiece, the gilt case with expertly engraved foliate ornament, the corners with reeded columns, surmounted by chased and engraved finials, the top with acanthus decorated handle, Roman numeral silvered dial with engraved center and gilt, engraved mask, blued steel Breguet style hands, 8 day timepiece movement with lever escapement, and spring barrel fixed to the front plate
CONDITION:
case with minor dings and scratches, minor verdigris on case top, chip at left side of glass, dial with minor scratches, movement with minor scratches and staining, running. The case, though unsigned, bears a striking resemblance to documented examples by the maker L. Lange.
